We are seeking a dedicated QA & Sanitation Supervisor to lead our quality and food safety initiatives. Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Directly supervise QA and Sanitation Technicians, establishing daily expectations and conducting performance reviews.

Compliance & Audits: Ensure ongoing compliance with SQF, HACCP, FDA, and USDA regulations while maintaining constant audit readiness.

Sanitation Oversight: Oversee the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), verify cleaning effectiveness through inspections, and monitor chemical usage.

Quality Control: Review production documentation, manage product holds/non-conformances, and oversee in-process inspections like allergen changeovers and metal detection.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred; or at least 5 years of equivalent food manufacturing leadership experience.

Experience: 3–5+ years of food manufacturing QA experience.

Technical Knowledge: Required experience with SQF or other GFSI-benchmarked schemes. Experience leading sanitation programs is strongly preferred.

Leadership Skills: Previous supervisory experience (1–3 years preferred) with conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally in a production environment (noise, wet conditions, temperature changes)
