Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Long Term Substitute Teacher to fill a temporary teaching role within Bristol Township School District. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ learning experiences while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in diverse classroom settings. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a passion for fostering educational growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging instruction aligned with established curriculum standards across various subjects and grade levels.
- Develop lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with special education requirements or autism spectrum disorders.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain student focus and promote positive interactions.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student progress in literacy, math, and overall childhood development initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school personnel to ensure clarity on student progress and classroom activities.
Skills
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional delivery across multiple subjects such as literacy and math.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management best practices.
- Familiarity with special education principles, including working with students with autism or other developmental needs.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proven ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning styles and individual needs.
Pay: $170.00 per day
