Warehouse Assistant Supervisor ( All shifts)

Large manufacturer and distributor of premium Asian-inspired food is hiring for a Warehouse Assistant Supervisor for their operations team. They develop and supply product for some of the leading retailers, wholesalers, and branded Asian-appetizer businesses. Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in assigning tasks and monitoring team performance
• Ensure all products are handled and stored in compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP) and company policies
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow and order fulfillment
• Determines space requirements and position of raw materials freezer and cooler, dry storage, packaging and finished goods freezer
• Monitor warehouse organization, cleanliness, and proper stock rotation (FIFO)
• Enforce workplace safety standards and conduct routine safety checks
• Assist in training, onboarding, and coaching warehouse employees
• Identify operational issues and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy
• Support scheduling, attendance tracking, and timekeeping for warehouse staff
• Ensure proper use and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Step in to lead shifts in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations
