Job Summary:
Plan and directly supervise technical teams performing the installation, maintenance, and repair of network equipment supporting voice, video, and data service. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, supporting outstanding customer relations, maintaining correction, prevention and improvement processes, defining performance and maintenance practices, and evaluating data to identify opportunities for performance improvement. This position has primary responsibility for conducting daily performance feedback and making recommendations for hiring and firing employees.

Qualification Requirements:
a. Education: High school or equivalent diploma
b. Experience level: Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunications operations or engineering is required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
c. Experience level: 2 Years supervisory experience or Senior/lead technician experience is required
d. SCTE, NCTI, CCNA or other industry certifications strongly desired.

Knowledge:
a. Microsoft Office Suite
b. Fiber Optical Networks (FTTx, ROADM, SONET, DWDM, CPE)
c. Telephone/xDSL Networks (xPON, Class 5 Switching, DSLAM, NGDLC, CPE)
d. Broadband Cable Networks (Digital Video, Headend, DOCSIS 3.x, CPE)
e. Data Networks (Ethernet, IP Networking,)
f. Power Systems (Generators, Inverters, -48V power plant, batteries, UPS’s)
