Associate Dentist — Surgical Track (Full-Arch / Yomi S)
Grand Valley Implant Dentistry — Allendale, MI
Comp: $150K–$300K+ Pathway + Surgical Training Track
Optional Paid Residency-Style Fast Track Available
What This Role Actually Is
This is not a traditional associate position.
This is a compressed surgical training pathway designed to take a motivated doctor from basic dentistry → full-mouth reconstruction surgery in under 9 months.
You will train on the Yomi S robotic system, advanced digital workflows, and full-arch implant cases.
Most dentists take 5–10+ years to reach this level.
Here, the right candidate can begin assisting immediately and progress to surgery in as little as 6 weeks–6 months.
Two Tracks (Choose One)1. Earn + Train (Associate Path)
- $75/hr or 26% of production (whichever is higher)
- Income while training
- Gradual progression into surgery
2. Accelerated Surgical Residency (Limited Spots)
- Doctors invest in training (residency-style model)
- Faster access to surgical reps, mentorship, and case volume
- Designed for those who want maximum speed to mastery
What You’ll Do
- Perform hygiene, sealants, and preventive care (yes, this matters for patient trust and case flow)
- Diagnose and present treatment plans
- Convert patients from confusion → clarity → treatment acceptance
- Perform same-day dentistry (fillings, crowns, extractions)
- Assist and progress into:
- Implant placement
- Bone grafting
- Full-arch surgery (All-on-4 / TeethXpress / FP1 workflows)
- Train directly in robot-assisted surgery (Yomi S)
- Learn digital systems: CBCT, guided surgery, workflow integration
Guaranteed Progression
- Assist on advanced cases: Week 1
- Place implants (qualified candidates): 6 weeks–6 months
- Perform full-arch surgery: < 9 months (guaranteed for committed operators)
If you don’t want that level of growth, this is the wrong role.
What Matters (Non-Negotiable)
- You want to become a top 1% operator, not an average dentist
- You move fast, learn fast, and take ownership
- You are comfortable starting with foundational work (hygiene, sealants) to build skill + trust
- You are coachable and can handle high standards + direct feedback
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD (recent grads welcome)
- Active or eligible for Michigan license
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Interest in surgery, implants, and full-mouth reconstruction
Environment
- High-output implant and full-arch center
- Advanced tech: CBCT, digital workflows, Yomi S robotics
- Systems-driven, fast-paced, growth-focused
- Direct mentorship with clear surgical pathway
Compensation Reality
- Base: $75/hr or 26% of production
- Target: $250K–$300K+ within 12–24 months (for high performers)
- Surgical skill = income ceiling expansion
