Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt
Travel: Some local travel required
Work Location: Pittsburgh and Greensburg offices

Position Summary

The Competitive-Integrated Employment (CIE) Manager oversees the daily operations of the Employment Supports program, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services. This role provides leadership to Employment Specialists and Leads, while working closely with the Director to grow and strengthen the program.
The CIE Manager is responsible for program performance, staff development, compliance, and strategic growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to assigned staff
  • Promote person-centered practices across all employment services
  • Support staff development, engagement, and performance management
  • Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing, documentation, and compliance
  • Monitor productivity, utilization, and program performance metrics
  • Maintain compliance with agency, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and program growth
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, expansion, and service improvement
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee service delivery, caseload management, and referral processes
  • Review progress notes, discharge documentation, and service plans
  • Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with budgeting, reporting, and operational efficiency
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and cross-department collaboration
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human services, business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities, including leadership experience
  • Knowledge of employment services and best practices in disability services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve, manage multiple priorities, and drive results
  • Experience with budgeting, program management, or operations preferred
  • Ability to pass Act 33 and Act 34 clearances
