Ophthalmic Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Optometric Technician.

In this role, you will support our optometrists in providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include pre-testing patients, assisting with eye exams, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients. A key part of this position also involves recalling patients and scheduling follow-up appointments as recommended by the doctor, so strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an optometry or medical setting is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
  • Comfortable making phone calls and managing patient follow-ups
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
