Founded in 1912, The Park School of Buffalo is a college-preparatory day school serving 300 students in prekindergarten through grade 12. Through a rigorous and progressive curriculum, the School develops in students the habits of mind and essential skills that lead to success in college and life.
The Park School is seeking a full-time Physical Education and Health Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will be ready to support students' understanding of the relationship between healthy body function and exercise; to motivate each student to cultivate physical fitness and make appropriate social and emotional adjustments; and to discover and develop the talents of students in physical achievement. In addition, this individual will help students develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability. Candidates may also be asked to serve as a homeroom teacher, advisory, and/or club advisor for a group of middle school or upper school students.
Affinity for students in the PreK-Grade 12 range is a must, and classroom experience with students across that range is strongly preferred. Strong pedagogy, differentiation, and developmental awareness are required. Candidates must strike the right balance between setting high expectations and nurturing their students’ growth.
