Position Overview
We are a well-established Connecticut law firm, on the look out for a self-motivated Settlement & Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join us in our Hartford or New Haven office. Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience drafting estate planning documents, designing and implementing estate plans, advising fiduciaries, administering trusts and estates, and researching related tax and legal issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families
- Complex estate settlement and trust administration
- Fiduciary litigation and counseling
- Business succession planning
- Designing estate plans
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of experience in estate and settlement planning
- Active license to practice in the state of Connecticut
- Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills
- Sound judgment and initiative
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and fiduciary managers
