Professional heavy haul driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of vehicles, including roll-off trucks, RGN trailers, flatbeds, Tri-axle Dump truck, and tractor-trailers. This role involves route driving and the safe transportation of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Responsibilities Operate a variety of vehicles including roll-off trucks, RGN trailers, flatbeds, Tri-axle dump , and tractor-trailers.

• Safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
• Plan and follow efficient routes (permitted routes) for timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations while on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL class A) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating manual transmission .
• Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
• Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Previous experience with oversized equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.

Spring is almost here and we are looking to add 1 or 2 professional drivers to our team. Applicants will need their Class A CDL . Lowboy/ HeavyHaul and Flatbed experience are a must!!!

We are seeking individuals that are willing to do whatever is required day to day. This may range from driving tractor trailer, triaxle dump truck, hot shots and escorting and assisting other drivers and trucks. This will be a floating position NO assigned truck.

Applicants should live near or around Bentleyville, PA as this is where the truck will be dispatched out of daily.

The position we are trying to fulfill is local. This means you will work Mondays through Fridays with occasional weekends.
You will spend some nights out of town.
You will have a very hectic schedule/start times and will move multiple loads per day. Often times your schedule changes multiple times throughout the course of a day, so an understanding of the industry is a must.

This job is by no means a 7-5 job. If a 7-5 job is what you are looking for then this is not the job for you.

Pay will be based on experience and is a hourly wage. Healthcare, vision, dental, and 401k are available along with vacation.
