General Sales Manager (GSM) – Automotive | F&I REQUIRED | Rare Opening

Rare opportunity – GSM retiring after 40+ years.
We are a high-volume, multi-franchise dealership (Chevy, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) seeking a proven General Sales Manager with strong F&I experience to step into a high-performing, established operation.
This is NOT an entry-level role. We want a producer.
What You’ll Do:
- Desk and close deals at a high level
- Drive front & back-end gross (PVR focus)
- Step into F&I and maximize product penetration
- Lead and hold accountability across the sales team
- Manage inventory, pricing, and aging for maximum turn
- Own the metrics: PVR, closing %, volume, market share
Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE):
- F&I experience (Finance Manager or higher)
- Proven GSM/Sales Manager performance
- Strong desking and deal structure skills
- Track record of driving profitability
Pay Plan:
- Aggressive comp (Base + % of total gross + F&I performance)
- High six-figure income potential
