Job Title: Donor Care Specialist (Phlebotomist)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Pay Rate: $1,372.50/week (Travel)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Schedule: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (Rotating Shifts)
Weekly Hours: 40
Shift Times (Rotating): 6a–2p, 7a–3p, 8a–4p, 9a–5p, 10a–6p, 11a–7p
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Donor Care Specialist (Phlebotomist) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.
- Perform donor screening to ensure eligibility per regulatory standards
- Conduct whole blood collections and therapeutic phlebotomy procedures
- Assist with offsite blood drives and donor center collections
- Prepare and label blood components and specimens for testing
- Accurately document donor records, deferrals, and data entry
- Assist with donor recruitment initiatives
- Maintain inventory and restock donor care supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and staff
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Prior phlebotomy experience (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency
- National Certification or completion of an accredited phlebotomy program
- 1+ year of donor phlebotomy experience
- Knowledge of blood groups, Rh types, and donation procedures
- DPT (ASCP) or QDP (ASCP) Certification (for advanced level roles)
