START DATE: 2026-2027 School Year
SCHEDULE: Part-Time, School-Year: Tuesdays/Thursdays 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM and Wednesdays 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
SALARY: Class III Support Staff Pay Schedule ($16.59/hour Base)
JOB SUMMARY:
Hamilton Community Schools is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Positive Behavior Support (PBS) Paraprofessional specifically for the Hamilton Virtual School program. This role focuses on promoting continuous improvement in student learning by implementing timely behavioral interventions and support for students in the virtual program across grades K-12. The individual will assist teachers, staff, and administrators in managing student behavior and providing a supportive environment, whether in person at the lab or through online platforms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Essential functions are the core responsibilities required to perform this role. These duties ensure students receive appropriate instruction and support for their educational development. The PBS Paraprofessional is also responsible for other duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the district, provided such duties are consistent with the employee’s certification and job responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25+ pounds.
