CAD Drafter

job summary:
Full Time-Direct hire CAD Drafter is needed for a client local to the Salem, OH area. Client is looking for a candidate with at least two years of Mechanical CAD Drafting background from a manufacturing setting. Client is offering a base salary ($60,000- $72,500) + 7% bonus, full benefits and 401 K. Relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
Education and Experience:

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  
• Desired: Associate's Degree in Drafting or Related Field
  
  
• 2 years of experience in CAD Drafting

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in CAD software is essential. Familiarity with AutoCAD for floor plans or SolidWorks for mechanical design preferred.
  
  
• Effective communication skills are important for collaborating with team members and engineers.
  
  
• The ability to identify and resolve design and drafting issues is crucial.
  
  
• A desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
  
  
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and apply new skills
  
  
• Attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments
  
  
• Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately
  
  
• Great organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information in a clear and concise manner
  
  
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
  
  
• Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available. OPT/CPT is not eligible for this role
  
  
• Regular attendance required

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentworking up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
