job summary:
Construction foreman is need for a leading Water and Wastewater Utility. The Construction foreman will lead and oversee all phases of water and wastewater system utility construction to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. You are responsible for directing onsite crew activities, managing equipment deployment, and ensuring all installations meet strict quality and performance specifications.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and at least four years of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in complex urban environments. Success in this leadership role requires a deep understanding of trench safety, shoring procedures, and the ability to coordinate diverse crews while working around existing underground utilities. This is a direct-hire role, and relocation is available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:

• Supervise onsite personnel and equipment operators, providing technical training and guidance to ensure high-quality utility installation
  
  
• Enforce strict adherence to OSHA, State, and Company safety regulations, with a focus on trench bracing, shoring, and hazard elimination
  
  
• Direct the operation and movement of heavy machinery, including backhoes and excavators, to maximize site productivity
  
  
• Oversee the distribution of materials and the execution of project plans, ensuring accurate pipe laying, testing, and grade specifications
  
  
• Manage the daily maintenance schedules and meticulous service record-keeping for all construction machinery and tools
  
  
• Responsible for maintaining erosion control devices and ensuring all work areas are cleaned and prepared to eliminate operational hazards
