CNC Operator Job Description

C3 Solutions is a growing and innovative manufacturing company specializing in custom cabinets, countertops and other millwork. We’re proud of our commitment to quality, efficiency, and a strong team culture. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and be proficient in using precision measuring instruments. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality parts and components while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards as well as operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and job orders.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operations to detect problems and ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Measure and preform quality control checks on finished parts.

Experience/Qualifications

• Age 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a CNC Operator 1+ years preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
