Shift Supervisor — KFC Riccarton Mall Haskett Holdings Ltd | Permanent Full Time Position Are you ready to run the shift? Haskett Holdings Ltd is looking for a motivated Shift Supervisor to join the management team at KFC Riccarton Mall. You'll lead the team, own the operation, and make sure every customer leaves happy. The Role - Permanent full time — minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed - Flexible roster across 7 days, shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm - Base rate per hour, plus sole charge allowance per hour when working as Manager on Duty - Based at KFC Riccarton Mall, Christchurch What You'll Be Doing - Managing the full restaurant operation during your shift, when in sole charge as manager on duty - Maintaining KFC food safety and quality standards throughout the shift - Overseeing cash handling, till counts and end-of-shift financial reporting - Managing customer complaints professionally and turning any bad experience into a good one - Making sure the restaurant is a safe place to work and all H&S obligations are met - Completing shift reports, stock orders and handover notes - Running opening or closing procedures including security checks - Conduct on-the-job training for new or developing team members under the direction of the RGM -Lead, motivate and support team members throughout the shift, fostering a positive and productive team environment -Monitor individual performance during the shift and provide real-time coaching and feedback. What We're Looking For Essential: - At least 12 months' experience in fast food, QSR or hospitality - Experience supervising or leading a team - Solid understanding of food safety - Confidence with cash handling and POS systems - Ability to stay calm and make good calls under pressure - Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays - Legal right to work in New Zealand — this is a requirement of the role Desirable: - Previous KFC experience and/or current KFC certification (Gold Star, All Star or Shift Supervisor) - Previous experience in a formal supervisor or management role What We Offer - Minimum 30 hours per week — guaranteed - Competitive Pay Rates - Free staff meal and drinks - Ongoing KFC training and certification paid by us - A genuine management development pathway — Shift Supervisor is step one towards Assistant Manager and Restaurant General Manager - A supportive team and an employer who invests in its people About Us Haskett Holdings Ltd operates four KFC restaurants across Canterbury — Ashburton, Riccarton Mall, Rangiora and Kaiapoi.
