Storeperson apprentice

Enerpro Feeds, is a family owned and operated business supplying high quality feed to the Dairy Industry. Due to continued growth in the industry and within our business, we are now seeking a Store Person for our manufacturing facility in Ashburton. This is a new role within our company. Initially this role will be Monday – Friday but certain times of the year will require flexibility, with hours to be discussed and a start date around 6th of July 2026. This role could suit an experienced person looking to cut back on fulltime work all year round, or could also suit a young person (apprentice) looking to enter this type of industry and be trained from the ground up, for the right person there is opportunities for varied work amongst our business. This role is initially based in our dry goods warehouse, you will be responsible for day to day product movements, de-vanning, stacking product, loading and unloading of trucks, operation of our automated bagging plant, as well as many other aspects of the business. Requirements for this position. - Minimum Restricted Drivers License - Forklift experience would be an advantage but not essential - Reliable and Punctual – This is essential - Ability to work as part of a team but also on your own - Time Management skills - Good Communication Skills - Good Numerical Skills - Some Computer Skills - Able to pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing - Physically fit and able to lift 20-25kg bags regularly - Be able to follow instruction and have attention to detail In return, Enerpro Feeds offers a positive, team-working environment, with full training available for all aspects of the job.
