Location: Matsunori Handroll Bar — Long Island City, NY (2709 Thomson Ave)

Hours: Monday–Sunday, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM (3-5 days a week minimum flexible)

Pay: NYC minimum wage

About Matsunori: Matsunori Handroll Bar is a walk-in sushi handroll bar from the Notoro Group, celebrated for its premium quality fish, A5 Wagyu, and caviar — all at an approachable price point. Originally born in Boston, Matsunori brought its philosophy of more fish, less rice to Long Island City, quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite for hand-crafted, Japanese-inspired handrolls made with impeccably fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients.

About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to support our kitchen team during lunch hours. You'll play a key role in making sure every delivery order that leaves Matsunori reflects the same quality our dine-in guests experience.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pack all food orders according to menu specifications
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Manage incoming orders across all delivery platforms (Uber Eats, Grubhub, and others)
• Ensure packaging quality and presentation meet restaurant standards
• Maintain a clean and organized packing station throughout your shift

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Prior experience in a food service or packaging role is a plus, but not required
