Yard Jockey- CDL C Drivers

Our team is seeking a dedicated CDL C Driver to join our workforce. Responsibilities

• Operate yard tractor and/or Class C vehicles to move trailers within the facility yard, including positioning at dock doors for loading and unloading
• Coordinate closely with Shipping, Receiving, and Production teams to ensure timely trailer availability based on production schedules
• Perform trailer spotting, docking, and repositioning to support inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical or safety issues immediately
• Verify trailer conditions meet food safety standards (cleanliness, no contamination, proper sealing) prior to loading
• Ensure trailers are properly secured using wheel chocks, trailer stands, and lockout/tagout procedures as required
• Maintain accurate yard logs, trailer inventories, and movement records (manual or system-based)
• Follow all company safety policies, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), OSHA guidelines, and DOT regulations
• Keep yard organized and audit-ready, ensuring clear traffic lanes and proper trailer placement
• Support internal audits and inspections related to safety and food safety compliance
• Assist with additional warehouse or sanitation-related tasks as needed

The essential functions of this role include:
