Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented shipping, receiving and order entry person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply and logistics of replacement parts, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, and entering and expediting customer orders. This role will also involve supporting the inside sales staff with various clerical tasks and office coverage when short staffed.

The Opportunity:

• Work flexible general business hours during which you receive small parcel boxes, inspect items, and add them to inventory or prepare them to ship to our customers. Also required is to enter customer orders into the system and expedite delivery when necessary. It will require a combination of standing work in the shipping area and performing some repetitive desk work in the office.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Receive UPS and FedEx packages and unwrap them for item inspection.

· Print packing lists and carefully box up items and ship them via UPS or FedEx.

· Enter customer orders and email acknowledgements.

· Create purchase orders and send them to vendors.

· Make an occasional delivery in the Grand Rapids area.

· Verify recorded inventory counts are accurate.

· Follow up with vendors on late deliveries.

· Print product labels.

· Perform international shipments.

· Answer incoming phone calls when able.

· Learn basic inspection of parts.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma
• Driver’s license
• Good writing skills for email communications
• Organized, detail oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
• Some mechanical comprehension, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new products and software tools.
• Team player with good memory and retention skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move parts and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for occasional periods.
• Ability to access parts on a step ladder (3 or 4 rungs max)

Hours:

· [Either] Full time: 8AM – 5PM, Mon-Fri, on-site. Salary plus benefits

· [Or] Part time: Hourly pay (such as 9AM-3PM, 4 days per week)

Full Time Pay:

· $40,000 - $45,000
