PART TIME ACCOUNTANT SPECIALIST – (Client Facing)

Pooley Accounting Services is seeking a part-time Accounting Specialist to support our clients with day-to-day accounting while gaining exposure to higher- level financial insights and client interactions.

Position Overview
Our Accounting Specialists play a key role in supporting multiple clients with their day-to-day accounting while also serving as a client-facing resource. This position blends hands-on bookkeeping with client communication and financial review support.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing accounting tasks independently, enjoys working directly with clients, and is interested in growing their skills beyond transactional work into more insight-driven support.

Requirements
· Accounting or business-related experience
· 3-5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience
· Experience with Zoho, Xero, and Slack a plus
· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet tools)
· Ability to pass a background check
· Verifiable professional references
· Reliable transportation for occasional local client visits
Schedule & Work Environment
· Flexible hours
· Combination of remote work and on-site client visits (St. Louis metro area)
· Monthly staff meetings (including periodic in-person meetings)
Compensation & Benefits
· Starting at $26 per hour (based on experience)
· Compensation includes billable time, some travel time, and administrative time
