Process Engineer

job summary:
Leading Plastics Manufacturer within the greater Nashua NH area is searching for skilled Process Engineers to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for those with a background in plastics engineering. We are seeking candidates who have a BS in a related field with 2-5 years of experience. Candidates will need experience with process validation systems and automation associated with injection molding.

responsibilities:

• Implement processes, validation and recording of new products, molds, processes, and equipment.
  
  
• Help with the tool and part quoting process.
  
  
• Assist with training new technicians on troubleshooting processing issues.
  
  
• Constant optimization of processes.
  
  
• Perform continual process improvement through material, process, tooling, and automation enhancements.
  
  
• Be involved with daily production and troubleshooting established processes.
  
  
• Proactively identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
  
  
• Perform DOE's.
  
  
• Act as liason for customers and suppliers as needed.
