Shifts:

-Full time RN 7p-7a- $10,000 sign on bonus

-Part time RN 7p-7a

-Part time LPN 7a-7p

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for geriatric psychiatric patients.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
  • Provide patient and family education to support understanding of treatment plans and recovery goals.
  • Promote safety by implementing de-escalation strategies, crisis intervention, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.

Requirements:

-Active RN or LPN license in the state of Iowa

-BLS certification required, or obtain within 3 months of hire date
