Carrier OEM Parts Specialist

Setpoint Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Parts Specialist to support our parts division. This role focuses on identifying, sourcing, and managing parts for Carrier equipment projects across the country.

We are looking for someone with strong HVAC knowledge who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and follow-through.

Position Overview

The HVAC Parts Specialist will work closely with our team, vendors, and customers to ensure parts are correctly identified, ordered, and delivered on time. This position plays an important role in keeping projects on track and supporting overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, quote, and order parts for commercial HVAC equipment (Carrier and Samsung preferred)
• Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to source parts
• Track orders, manage shipping, and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and coordinate shipments, including scheduling carriers and handling documentation
• Ensure accurate job costing and billing of parts
• Process warranty claims, returns, and vendor issues
• Maintain organized records and documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with commercial HVAC parts
• Experience with shipping, logistics, and coordinating freight
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Effective communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
