Divisional Director – Postal Divisions
Location: Stamford and Waterbury
Organization: America’s First Network Credit Union
Reports To: Sr. Division Director
Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Divisional Director to lead and oversee our Postal Divisions. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, member growth, and financial performance across multiple branches serving postal employees and their families. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in financial services, team development, and community-focused banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for all Postal Division branches and operations
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve growth, service, and financial objectives
- Monitor performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Lead, coach, and develop staff to foster a high-performing culture
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the postal community and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and enhanced member experience
- Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational initiatives and expansion strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- 7–10+ years of leadership experience in banking or credit unions
- Proven success managing multi-branch operations or regional teams
- Strong knowledge of retail banking, lending, and financial services
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth and improve operational efficiency
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with or serving postal or government employee groups is a plus
