Job Summary

The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves managing a high patient ratio, delivering quality care, and supporting residents with chronic and ongoing healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using systems such as ECS.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
  • Assist with care planning and resident assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and facility protocols.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • 12-hour shifts (Day or Night based on assignment)
  • Full-time schedule (3x12 or 4x12 options available)
  • No on-call requirement
  • Floating may be required within scope
  • Long Term Care facility setting

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific, required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of LTC nursing experience
  • Previous travel experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
