Description:

• The Clinical Nurse Associate in Medical Surgical is responsible for providing operational and clinical leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
• This full-time position is based in Yonkers, NY, with shifts from 03:00pm to 11:00pm, including alternating weekends.

Requirements:

• Accountability for unit operations and performance across all shifts.
• Experience in executing, validating, and following through on operational standards.
• Ability to manage real-time staffing challenges and ensure safe staffing levels.
• Proficiency in conducting patient experience rounds and initiating service recovery.
• Experience in supporting patient flow from admission through discharge.
• Monitoring key performance indicators like medication scanning and hand hygiene.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of acute care clinical experience.
• Prior charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• National Certification in Nursing Leadership or clinical specialty preferred.
