We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and engaging in-home care worker to provide part-time assistance in a private home setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful conversation, values a clean and organized environment, and is attentive to safety and well-being.
Location: Onalaska, WI
Compensation: $16.32/hour
Schedule: Flexible daytime hours - Mon, Wed, Fri
Up to 10Hr/Week
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks (light cleaning, tidying, organizing)
  • Laundry care, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing
  • Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
  • Assist with putting groceries away after delivery
  • Lay out clothing as needed
  • Help organize household items and spaces
  • Prepare simple meals and assist with meal prep
  • Provide assistance in the event of a fall or mobility issue

Light physical personal assistance may be required in case of emergencies
(e.g., a fall while entering the shower) - NO PERSONAL CARES OTHERWISE

Ideal Candidate
  • Dog lover
  • Friendly, engaging, and intellectually curious
  • Comfortable discussing current events
  • Interest in science and history is a plus
  • Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
  • Able to provide calm and supportive assistance if needed

Qualifications
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills, kindness, and dependability.
  • Must pass caregiver and criminal background checks.
