Job Summary
The Operations Projects Analyst supports operational performance through data analysis, reporting, and executive level presentation development, including analyzing key trends, variances and identifying business drivers. This role partners closely with operations leadership and field level teams to collect, organize, analyze and leverage insights to present business information that drives decision making and strategic initiatives across the portfolio. Additionally, the role will build and maintain recurring reports, create dashboards, and manage the implementation of new ideas and pilot programs, playing a key role in turning raw data into actionable insights to improve operational performance.
Job Duties
Analyze operational performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and key drivers, and leverage these insights to develop and implement strategies to improve performance (Essential)
Design, drive and oversee the execution of new initiatives, projects and pilot programs, refining and making recommendations based on interpreted data (Essential)
Support pilot programs by partnering with field teams to collect and analyze data, consolidate findings and translate information into proposed actionable solutions (Essential)
Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reports, dashboards, and presentations (Essential)
Organize and analyze large data sets from multiple sources and translate them into clear, usable reporting formats, including developing charts, scorecards and reports that highlight trends, risks, and performance gaps (Essential)
Support forecasting, trend analysis, and special projects by gathering data and preparing analytical materials (Essential)
Prepare presentations that clearly communicate business performance, operational insights, and recommended actions (Essential)
Build, maintain, and distribute recurring operational reports across portfolio, division, region, and community levels
Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc business reviews for senior leadership
Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into performance
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen data integrity
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field (Required)
2 years in experience in data analysis, reporting, business analytics, or operations support preferred (Required)
6 months in experience working with reporting tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or simliar platforms (Preferred)
6 months in experience in multi-site operations, hospitality, real estate, property management or similar area (Preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including use of pivot tables, lookups, formulas, filtering, and chart creation
Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to build polished, executive level presentations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills and follow through
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working with sensitive business information
Must have a valid driver's license
