IPWC is seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant / Receptionist/Biller to support our growing practice. This is a per diem, remote position compensated on an hourly basis and offers flexible scheduling based on administrative needs.
The ideal candidate is organized, communicates professionally, and is comfortable handling both administrative and front-facing coordination tasks with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, and general administrative tasks to support the practice.
- Utilize Excel to assist with tracking administrative data and reports.
- Answer and screen incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and communicate professionally with patients.
- Serve as a remote receptionist, assisting with patient coordination and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Assist with medical billing support, including familiarity with billing processes and insurance coordination.
- Work within EHR systems for administrative and patient-related tasks.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clinicians, staff, and patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when speaking with patients.
- Working knowledge of Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
- Familiarity with EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.
- Basic understanding of medical billing procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage tasks efficiently.
