Cleaning Technician (Part-Time Seasonal)

Job Title: Cleaning Technician (Part-Time Seasonal) for Short Term Rentals in Traverse City.

Looking for seasonal cleaners starting in early/middle May through September or October

If you have at least 4 or 5 days of availability to work, this is the job posting you will want to apply for. If you are only looking for weekend work, please apply to the weekend only cleaning position.

***Sundays are mandatory*** (11:00am-4:00pm)

Guests check out of their units @ 11:00am

Guests check in to their units @ 4:00pm

So cleaning hours are 11:00am - 4:00pm

A reliable vehicle is required as you will be traveling to different units to clean throughout the day.

Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas and high traffic areas
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Reliable transportation to commute to different work locations

- PTO is valid to use AFTER 90 days of being employed with the company

- As of February 22, 2025 you will get 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours worked
