We’re launching a new cooking and food production facility in Mt. Vernon, MO—supported by the resources, expertise, and stability of an established, fast-growing company. This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-and-lead opportunity.

We’re looking for an Operations / Production Manager who wants ownership, impact, and the chance to shape how a facility runs from day one.

What You’ll Do

You will be the operational backbone of the new facility—responsible for turning a new site into a high-performing, scalable production operation.

• Stand up the facility
• Help set up workflows, equipment utilization, and production systems
• Establish SOPs from scratch and refine them as we scale
• Lead production & operations
• Manage day-to-day production, staffing, and output targets
• Drive efficiency, throughput, and cost control
• Own quality & food safety
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and internal quality expectations
• Build a culture where quality is non-negotiable
• Coordinate logistics & supply chain
• Oversee raw material flow, inventory, and outbound shipments
• Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth operations end-to-end
• Build and develop a team
• Hire, train, and lead production staff
• Set expectations, hold accountability, and create a strong team culture

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, resourceful, and thrives in building environments.

• Experience in food production, manufacturing, or operations management
• Strong understanding of:
• production processes
• quality systems
• basic supply chain/logistics
• Ability to wear multiple hats and solve problems quickly
• Comfortable working in a startup-style environment within a structured company
• Leadership mindset—able to build systems AND lead people
• Must be able to work onsite in Mt. Vernon, MO (or relocate)

Compensation

• Base salary: $60,000 – $80,000
• Performance bonus: up to 20%
• Profit sharing
• Opportunity to grow with the operation
