Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at the Parma plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on accounts payable processes. This role is primarily responsible for processing invoices and will also involve accounts receivable tasks, journal entries, and reviewing profit and loss statements.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable, comprising approximately 75% of the workload.

  • Handle accounts receivable tasks, including basic journal entries and reviewing profit and loss statements.

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to assist with purchase orders.

  • Perform account reconciliations and utilize financial software for accurate record keeping.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in accounts payable and invoice processing.

  • Experience with accounting practices and reconciliation processes.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements.

  • Experience working within an ERP system, ideally Oracle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • An Associate's degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.

  • Prior experience in accounts payable is required.

  • Familiarity with Kronos timekeeping is advantageous but not essential.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite at the plant in Parma. Candidates must be comfortable working in an office space within a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parma, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
