Job Description
Assist with work tasks, project organization, and delivery of programs. Assist program coordinator. Coordinate, organize, plan, and implement all aspects and activities of the Outdoor and Environmental Education Program, including design, planning, implementation, student recruitment, and marketing.
Responsibilities:
To assist with work tasks and project organization delivery. Assist program coordinator, Ana Munro, to coordinate, organize, plan, and implement all aspects and activities of the Outdoor and Environmental Education Program, including design, planning, and implementation of events such as:
Annual Green Jobs Fair
Outdoor activities such as Ice fishing, visits to farms, local park districts, and camps
Dream Big Environmental Summit
GCST Classes (outdoor components)
Campus tours for prospective students
student recruitment to events and activities
Salary Range:
$16 per hour
Minimum Qualifications
Student must have completed GCST 1970 or a similar environmental course or activity on campus or in their school district, or have a strong demonstrated interest in nature and the outdoors, and be comfortable participating in outdoor activities
Students should have a strong interest in the outdoors and nature, and want to protect and preserve Minnesota's natural places for future generations
Excellent communicator
Highly organized
Able to communicate successfully with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Maintain and update Word documents, PDFs, databases, and spreadsheets
