The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Coordinator to join our team. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for kitting, performing inspections, and ensuring inventory is available to fulfil customer demands and support R&O operations.
The Inventory Coordinator will:
- Inspect incoming parts and materials for quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements
- Complete visual and dimensional inspections on production hardware in accordance with common operating procedures and production/repair planning’s
- Document inspection results and maintain records for traceability and continuous improvement
- Identify and report nonconforming parts to initiate corrective action as necessary
- Organize and execute material kitting activities, ensuring all components are accurately identified, counted, labeled, and staged
- Coordinate with Manufacturing and Purchasing to identify and resolve hardware shortages
- Manage timely replenishment of kit stock as needed
- Track status of open kit orders and communicate with Product Support to prioritize time sensitive builds
- Participate in inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline kitting, inspection, or inventory processes
- Maintain an orderly workspace and kitting build area
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is desired
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, production/material control, supply chain operations, with a strong proficiency in ERP/ MRP systems and technical problem-solving
- Prior experience with SAP preferred
- Strong desire to apply data-driven problem-solving techniques
- Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
- U. S. citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
