IT Technician

You know what's worse than a cracked foundation? A crashed network on a Monday morning.

At Building Restoration Corporation, we restore brick and stone buildings across Minnesota and Wisconsin — work that takes skilled hands and smart systems behind the scenes. We're looking for an IT Technician who can keep our people connected, our devices running, and our data secure across three offices. You'll report directly to our IT Director and play a critical role in how this company operates every single day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide hands-on tech support to field crews and office staff — troubleshooting devices, connectivity issues, and software questions with patience and plain English
• Manage and maintain our Apple ecosystem (Mac, iPhone, iPad) along with select PC devices using enterprise MDM tools
• Support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, access control systems, and camera systems across multiple locations
• Handle onboarding and offboarding — setting up accounts, devices, and permissions so new hires are ready to go on day one
• Maintain our in-house server, cloud workspace, and internal business tools (CRM, communication platforms, project management)
• Manage vendor relationships for IT services and equipment
• Own endpoint protection and cybersecurity monitoring to keep company data safe
• Assist company leadership with technology projects and day-to-day tech needs
• Use AI tools to work smarter — automating tasks, streamlining processes, and finding better ways to solve problems

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

• 2–4 years of hands-on IT support experience
• Strong knowledge of macOS, iOS, and Windows environments
• Experience with MDM platforms, enterprise firewalls, network administration, and endpoint security
• A people-first attitude — you can explain tech to anyone, regardless of their comfort level with computers
• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) and a mindset that embraces them

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with structured cabling and cable management
• Familiarity with access control and camera systems
• Experience supporting multi-site organizations
