ICT NETWORK & SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR We are seeking an experienced and motivated ICT Network & Systems Administrator to join our ICT team. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and resilience of Council’s network and systems environment, while contributing to continuous improvement and future-focused technology initiatives. About the Role In this role, you will administer and optimise Council’s enterprise network and systems infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. You’ll play a key part in maintaining high availability and security of core ICT services, while also supporting projects, mentoring team members, and building strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners. About You You are a technically strong and proactive professional who thrives in complex environments and takes pride in delivering reliable and secure ICT services. You will bring: • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 5–7+ years’ experience in enterprise networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity • Proven ability to manage complex technical environments independently Technical expertise in: • Networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls) • Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure • Virtualisation platforms • Cybersecurity principles and risk management • Backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability systems You will also have: • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Excellent documentation and communication abilities • Experience in incident and problem management • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach • A full, current driver’s licence What We Offer • A supportive and collaborative team environment • Flexible working arrangements • Opportunities for professional development and growth Apply Now If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a role where your work truly matters, we’d love to hear from you.
