Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16.50 - $16.50 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Batch Maker:
Measure and weigh raw materials (oils, fragrances, additives, chemicals) according to batch formulas
Operate mixing equipment, kettles, and related machinery to produce soap batches
Monitor temperature, mixing times, and other process variables to ensure product quality
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines at all times
Record batch information, including quantities, lot numbers, and production data
Inspect batches for consistency, color, texture, and quality standards
Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas between batches
Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors
Assist with inventory control and raw material handling
Available shifts:
Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), 3rd Shift (Night)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
High school diploma or GED preferred; prior manufacturing or batch processing experience a plus
Basic math and measurement skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and formulas
Strong attention to detail, consistency, and safety awareness
Good time management, teamwork, communication, and mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment with heat, humidity, strong scents, and exposure to chemicals, fragrances, and oils
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must be bilingual
Background check and drug test required
