Job Description

Radiologic Technologist – Mammography

Location: Rochester, New York
Pay Range: $27.00–$40.00/hr (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No nights | No weekends | No on-call

We are partnering with a nationally recognized, physician-owned breast imaging practice dedicated exclusively to the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. This is not a hospital or surgical setting—the entire focus is expert imaging, accuracy, and guiding patients through a critical part of their healthcare journey.

This organization has built one of the most respected breast imaging workflows in the country. Facilities often visit to observe their model because of its proven efficiency, effectiveness, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
  • Ensure image quality prior to radiologist interpretation
  • Provide compassionate, professional patient support throughout the imaging process
  • Accurately document procedures within the EMR/RIS system
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and imaging team members
  • Participate in quality initiatives that support clinical excellence

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license required
  • Mammography experience preferred (certification may be obtained within 2 years of hire)
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, physician-led private practice environment

  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
  • 4 weeks PTO in year one; 5 weeks PTO in year two; up to 7.5 weeks maximum vacation accrual
  • 401(k) funded by physicians after one year — 8.5% employer contribution (employer-funded regardless of employee participation)
