Description

Overview: Responsibilities include all aspects of quality reporting and Customer interface. Experience with Heat Treat operations and comfortable with shop floor environment. Must be focused on continuous improvement. Excellent opportunity for advancement. Responsibilities: - Oversee, maintain, and improve the Quality System that assures the Quality of product and services provided by MPC. - Lead role in development of Quality System goals, upgrades, and improvements. - Maintain and revise the Plant Procedure Manual, Operator Manuals, and Laboratory Manual. - Lead Auditor for Internal Audits and training of additional Internal Auditors. - Facilitate Corrective Actions. - Serve as Company Representative in Quality Audits and Customer Surveys. M-F some saturdays, 7:30am - 5pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills: - Must possess a bachelor's degree, with formal training and education in Metallurgical or Material Sciences. - Experience in a commercial heat-treating environment. - Experience in a management role. - Good communication skills with willingness to interface with customers. - Understanding of Automotive Quality Standards. - Keen sense of continuous improvement. - Willing to work on the shop floor in a heat-treating environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
