Job Description

Clinic Manager Mission: The Clinic Manager at Insight Recovery & Wellness is dedicated to ensuring smooth, efficient, and compassionate clinic operations. This role leads office staff, manages scheduling processes, oversees EMR accuracy and compliance, and handles patient concerns with professionalism, supporting our commitment to respectful, high-quality addiction treatment.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Supervise office staff
  • Co-manage outpatient billing processes
  • Oversee appointment scheduling, intake process, and patient flow to optimize efficiency
  • Oversee Patient Payment Management
  • Physician/NP support
  • Manage EMR (implementation and be the main admin) and ensure data accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Enforce office policies, procedures, and workflow improvements
  • Handle patient concerns, complaints, and feedback with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Ensure the front office delivers trauma-informed and recovery-supportive service

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, Social Work or related field
  • Good familiarity with medical billing/revenue cycle management workflows and tools
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare office management role, preferably in behavioral health or addiction treatment settings

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of addiction and psychiatric treatment modalities, terminology, and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, SharePoint, Word)
  • Proficiency in EHR systems (AthenaHealth Preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and emotional intelligence
  • Understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality laws, and billing practices for outpatient behavioral health services

Reports to:

  • COO/CEO

Salary Range: $62,000-$82,000
