Supervisor-Group Home

Job Summary:

Join Phyxius Inc. as a compassionate and dedicated supervisor to support individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Mental Illness in a group home setting. This role combines direct care with managerial responsibilities, ensuring high-quality client care and a supportive environment for staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and non-direct care, including support for clients with physical aggression.

• Manage scheduling, approve timesheets, and oversee team operations.

• Train, support, and address employee concerns to maintain a cohesive team.

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure documentation complies with HIPAA standards.

• Advocate for clients by assisting them in setting and achieving personal goals.

• Develop and train staff on support plans, including safety and self-management protocols.

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment through daily routines, housekeeping, and meal prep.

• Provide behavioral support, including crisis intervention and physical restraint as needed.

• Offer guidance or assistance outside of regular hours occasionally, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Management Experience: At least 1 year in a supervisory role, managing 10+ employees.

• Healthcare Experience: At least 6 months in healthcare or mental health, particularly with individuals with disabilities.

• Tech Skills: Proficiency in Mac/Apple operating systems and Microsoft Office tools.

• Communication: Professional verbal and written skills.

• Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean record.
