If you join our mission-driven team, you will have a vital role in providing nutrition assistance to Missouri’s children and vulnerable adults by working with the Summer Food Service Program, the Child and Adult Care Food Program, and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program. This position provides an opportunity to exercise independent judgement and initiative, as well as an opportunity to be part of an amazing team to collaborate and work with all who have a responsibility to carry out the same mission: Help Missourians Eat Healthy.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

Responsibilities - What you’ll do

• Monitor, evaluate, and implement nutrition program policy and regulation changes.
• Monitor proposed nutrition program legislation for regulation and budget changes; coordinate comments and recommendations.
• Develop and coordinate comprehensive statewide training and resources for internal and external partners.
• Provide technical and strategic direction on nutrition program objectives, policy, and procedures for the unit.
• Coordinate communication and training of nutrition program contractors and partners to improve access to program benefits and facilitate partnerships to create opportunities for expanding nutrition program services.

Qualifications - All you need for success Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidates are required to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Three or more years of related professional experience.
• A valid drivers license is required.
