We are seeking to add a full time paralegal to our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collegial environment where you will be valued and appreciated. There is room to grow into a senior paralegal position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 Providing excellent management of client relationships and ensures smooth communication with external clients.

 Assisting in creating, editing, and proofreading complex legal documents, forms, and correspondence with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness.

 Working closely with attorney on various tasks, including calendaring and coordinating timely responses to Motions and assisting in the preparation of exhibit binders for hearings. You will also be responsible for maintaining organized client and matter lists, and ensuring that all communications are tracked properly.

 Handling the organization and timely maintenance of physical and electronic files, keeping the calendar and files up to date and utilizing firm software to manage emails, retrieve files, and maintain complete client files. Schedules appointments, maintains calendars, and keeps contacts organized using Smokeball and Office 365.

 Assisting with time entry management, including inputting, editing, proofreading, and closing time notes on a daily basis.

 Assisting with onboarding new clients from scheduling their consultations through opening their matters, preparing engagement letters, and processing conflict reports using the firm's software.

 Supporting client file transfers, disengagements, and securely manages the transfer of case/client data in accordance with the firm's data security policies.

 You will also be expected to provide backup support to other team members as needed, and steps in on overflow work when time permits.

 Handling various office tasks, including answering phones, arranging conference calls, managing deliveries, copying, scanning, and preparing materials for mailing.

 The ideal candidate will take initiative in participating in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or Equivalency required.

- A minimum of 1 year experience in a litigation law office setting

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.

- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and staff at all levels.

- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and be comfortable working with new technology.

- Typing speed of 40-60 wpm with high accuracy.

- Able to be in the office from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation Structure:

Our firm values your dedication and hard work, and we want to reward you for your commitment to helping our clients with their family law matters. Here's a breakdown of our compensation package:

Base Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually, non-exempt

Performance-Based Bonus: In addition to your base salary, we offer a performance-based bonus structure.
