Job Summary
M. Davis and Company, Inc. (MDAC) is looking for a conscientious Researcher with attention to detail. Ideal candidate will have a research background in the social sciences and have conducted project work regarding program evaluation for a federal agency. The Researcher will help in the entire data collection process, including OMB preparation, instrument development, survey execution, and report writing. The successful Researcher will be able to interpret qualitative and quantitative data.

• Assist in the development and implementation of data collection plans
• Support the quality assurance, coding, editing and analysis of data
• Interpret data, consolidate resultant information into actionable items, reports and presentations, and make recommendations
• Write components of monthly reports, final reports and presentations

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust Clearance for working as a subcontractor to a federal agency
• Proven research analysis experience
• Proposal writing experience a plus
• Master’s or PhD degree preferred
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Comfort with manipulating large databases, especially Excel
• Strong analytical and critical thinking

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
