The Dudek Lab at University of Iowa is hiring for a summer Undergraduate Research Intern. This temporary position is a paid research internship of 40 hours per week at an hourly pay rate of $15/hour. The research position requires cell culture experience, and involves molecular biology (PCR, Sanger sequencing, molecular cloning, viral vector production), primary cell culture (CD4+ T cells), and gene editing. This position will support an NIH R00-funded project investigating the role of alternative splice isoforms of cellular restriction factors on HIV-1 replication.
