- Combination of:
- 3 shifts (8 hours each): 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 1 shift (12 hours): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to oversee clinical operations and provide leadership during off-shift hours in a multi-unit healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality patient care, support nursing staff, and manage patient flow across departments.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing staff
- Coordinate patient flow, admissions, and bed management across units
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Respond to emergencies, manage codes, and support crisis situations
- Oversee incident reporting, risk management, and quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using EMR systems
- Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients (including neurobehavioral conditions)
- Post-surgical rehabilitation (orthopedic, cardiac)
- Long-term care residents
- Chronic conditions including diabetes (DM), CVA, cardiac conditions, and more
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a House Supervisor (LTC, LTAC, or STAC setting)
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and/or acute care settings
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR (required)
- BLS certification required
- Must reside 75+ miles from the facility (travel requirement)
- First-time travelers accepted
- Strong leadership and staff coordination abilities
- Expertise in emergency response, code management, and de-escalation
- Experience with IV therapy, PICC lines, wound care, and infection control
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and TJC standards
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently during off-shifts
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
