Randstad is currently working with a Leading Supplier in the cosmetics industry and they are looking to hire a Procurement Buyer at their office is West Nyack, NY. This is a Full-Time Permanent position with our client. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience managing indirect spending categories preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the effective management of indirect spend categories including services, consumables, maintenance, logistics, and general operating expenses.
• This role ensures efficient procurement operations by managing the end-to-end purchasing process, optimizing costs, improving payment terms, and maintaining smooth process flow between internal departments and external suppliers.
• The Buyer must demonstrate analytical capability, negotiation skills, and operational discipline to deliver savings targets, and support overall business objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Set up new vendors and ensure completion of required documentation
