Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor / Assistant Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations at commercial client sites, lead and develop our cleaning staff, and ensure every job meets GermSmart's quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work and knows how to bring out the best in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff across commercial client locations
• Train new hires on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company standards
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure all work meets client expectations
• Manage staff schedules, assignments, and daily task completion
• Serve as the main point of contact for client concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and submit reorder requests as needed
• Report performance issues and assist with employee evaluations
• Support the manager with day-to-day operations and step in when needed

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in commercial cleaning or a related field
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to train, motivate, and hold a team accountable
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple sites
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
